This past weekend, SUNY Purchase's Stoodent Center went in a frenzy over the most unique and feel good pop music. Syrian Pop-star Omar Souleyman played to the entire school, who in return cheered, danced and squeezed all together into an audience of hot mess. Souleman had a keyboardist lay down the beats with a two-tier keyboard setup. It was one of the gretest shows I have ever seen. BTW, I endlessly tried doing the shoulder dance featured in the video below. No one could figure it out haha.

Recently I went to RMNP and recommend that you do as well. Whether you are flying out to Colorado Springs or Denver, stopping there on a road trip, or on tour with your band. It is a great place to either camp, hike, relax or explore. It can be for a weekend or just for a day, however long you like.

What I enjoyed the most was trying to find the wildlife. Here are some prime viewing areas in the park that you can most likely find those wild beasts:

Mountain Lion/Bobcat:

Moose:

• Along the Colorado River in the Kawuneeche Valley
• Wetland Areas

Sing to Every Song. - Followup to Foals

Foals 10/1/10 w/ Esben and the Witch The show went great! I feel bad for those of you who did not come out and enjoy a little British invasion @ the Bowery Ballroom.
The concert opened with Esben and the Witch, who played a solid set. I never heard them before, but now I will have to download some of their stuff. To me they were a perfect compliment to the Foals. Not so much "math" rock for this group but more of The XX and Crystal Castles mix.

The Foals played non-stop and had me singing to every single song. They played everything I could have hoped for. Each song building and being more epic than the last. They even had a killer Encore!
