I Love This Video - Love Lost by The Temper Trap

Here... Great Song/Video
There... The Temper Trap
Where... Song is Love Lost

From Bandweblog
"The "Love Lost" video was shot over two extremely cold days on Walthamstow Marshes by sought after director Dougal Wilson whose previous work includes videos for Bat for Lashes, LCD Soundsystem and Coldplay.

"Love Lost" has been remixed by legendary electronic pioneers, Rollo and Sister Bliss who instantly fell in love with lead singer Dougie Mandagi's voice, so much so, Mandagi is a featured vocalist on the Faithless 2010 LP"

"They have arena sized songs in which layer upon layer of guitar builds up to a melancholically anthemic conclusion." - The Guardian

"Could The Temper Trap turn out to be the next Kings Of Leon? Their debut album, Conditions, has quietly sold 200,000 copies... a follow up could lead to their popularity suddenly exploding." - The Times 4/5

Wegmans and Alec Baldwin!

From Democrat and Chronicle :

"Alec Baldwin, the famous actor, has cut an ad for Wegmans Food Markets Inc. At least two ads are scheduled to run before the holidays in multiple Wegmans media markets, according to Jeanne Colleluori, Wegmans spokeswoman.

Baldwin, a New York City guy, told David Lettermen earlier this year that his mother absolutely, positively will not retire to California – with younger son Billy – because she won’t leave Wegmans.

Wegmans approached him after that appearance. His mother makes a cameo in the $6-meal ad."

Influencers - R+I Creative

There...A Documentary
Where...Music, Fashion and Entertainment

INFLUENCERS is a short documentary that explores what it means to be an influencer and how trends and creativity become contagious today in music, fashion and entertainment.

The film attempts to understand the essence of influence, what makes a person influential without taking a statistical or metric approach.

Written and Directed by Paul Rojanathara and Davis Johnson, the film is a Polaroid snapshot of New York influential creatives (advertising, design, fashion and entertainment) who are shaping today's pop culture.

"Influencers" belongs to the new generation of short films, webdocs, which combine the documentary style and the online experience.

Syria + SUNY Purchase = Omar Souleyman @ Fall Fest

Here....Omar Souleyman
There...See His Show!
Where...Syria and the World

omar souleyman, music, syria, pop
This past weekend, SUNY Purchase's Stoodent Center went in a frenzy over the most unique and feel good pop music. Syrian Pop-star Omar Souleyman played to the entire school, who in return cheered, danced and squeezed all together into an audience of hot mess. Souleman had a keyboardist lay down the beats with a two-tier keyboard setup. It was one of the gretest shows I have ever seen. BTW, I endlessly tried doing the shoulder dance featured in the video below. No one could figure it out haha.
